Upload failed in Micro800

Post by Tinseb_56 »

Hello all,
The CCW displays my PLC model, but can not upload my program
I have a Micro820 PLC. I want to upload my Program by CCW software. I get this error when I select the upload option.

Upload failed for: Cannot import "c:\users\eddi\documents\ccw\project12\controller\Controller\Micro820\Micro820\Micro820_IDS00103" file. The file is either corrupted or has an invalid format.

I need the program and I don't have a copy.
What do you think could be the reason for this?
I would be grateful if you have any suggestions.

Usually is invalid for the version of CCW
Rockwell support wrote:Upload failed for: Cannot import "[project_path]\controller\Controller\Micro820\Micro820\Micro820_DS00103" file. The file is either corrupted or has an invalid format.
Cause
The project file in the PLC is corrupted or invalid for the version of CCW.
Solution
Try to upgrade the version of CCW, such as version 21. Its possible that the project downloaded to the controller was from a higher version of CCW.
If the project is corrupted there is no way of connecting to this PLC without an offline copy of the project. Get an offline copy of the project and redownload it to the controller.
