Communication between PLC5 to Compactogix

Hello experts,

I want to estabished communication between PLC5 to Compactogix PLC.
Is that possibe to use Ethernet Interface (AB -1761-NET-ENIW) ?
Or is there have any way to send/receive data between PLC5 to Compactogix PLC?

Hello,

I think there a two ways - producer and consumer tags or messages.

About messages you find some information on plctalk.net. For messages you need the hardware for an ethernet-communication.

The AB -1761-NET-ENIW is an Micrologix Ethernet Interface. I think it is not possible to use this part.

you can use the producer / consumer tags for the PLC5 - it works only with the controlNet not with the ethernet.
