FM450-1 Cntr. Module, EXT FLT because using only 1 channel

Hello,

I have an FM450-1 Counter Module from Siemens, to which i connected encoder at channel 1 on card;

I imported FC0, FC1, UDT1 and made DB from UDT1, tested encoder by manually rorating it - and it all works as intended.

Only problem is that red external fault lamp on FM450 is on, and when i go in Diagnostic in HW, it says that I have errors on channel2 A,B and N and 5,2V supply for encoder. Nothing is wired to second channel.

So, i switched all the wiring from channel 1 to channel 2, and external fault is still on, but errors are now at channel 1.

So, my question is, can i somehow disable unused channel, so that i dont get external fault error because of unused channel on FM module?

Seems it is enough to disable monitoring of channels in unused channel with F-Configuration Pack. I don't know either to feel stupid or relieved
