Program to train basic initial PID tuning by gut feeling?

Hello all,

I often have to tune PID controllers by feeling. I get a system for a short time, and have to initial tune a PID controller. A more thorough tuning with programs is done afterwards. But the basic tuning is done by me.

Is there a simple training program for initial PID tuning by try and error? Means, a program giving different systems and the task is to find a good initial tuning for a PID controller. So one can train tuning by gut feeling.
