Didn't fix the issue though.

- I did a CHECK, all keys became a GREEN V
- Tried to start a virtual PLC, didn't work
- In ALM, I looked at the installed software and saw that PLCSIM Advanced V2.0 was missing a key
- I installed another long key with EKB: PLCSIM Advanced Combo V2.0
- Restarted the computer
- In ALM, PLCSIM Advanced V2.0 was now licensed
- I did a check of all keys
- It still doesn't start any virtual PLC

If you have any idea, I'm all ears!

I've finally found a fix that works for Windows 10 v1803.
Apparently, this issue is due to windows version (PLCSIM Advanced V2.0 SP1 might fix the problem itself).

1. Start PLCSIM Advanced V2.0 and ALM applications as administrator:
- right click on their shortcuts
- properties
- compatibility
- run this program as an administrator

2. Give your account full control over Siemens folders in ProgramData and Program Files (x86)
- right click on these folders
- properties
- security
- edit users and groups
- add you account and check full control
- apply

I am an electrical engineer from Greece, soon starting its career in an industry in Germany.
I would like to ask you what files I need too download, in order to install the full version of the software with all its tools without any trial limitations. Do I need to install the software from the official website (Siemens) and then apply the EKB?
Can you help me out?
I am really trying to understand but, most of the posts are in Russian. Thanks in advance!

You can to download TIA Portal from Siemens site or from RuTracker torrent = identical packages (check checksum).
Trial version is Full official package from Siemens
For testing purpose you can activate 14-days Trial keys from Siemens package or use EKB_Install

иногда возникает путаница с названием "Триальная" версия.
На сайте Сименса выкладывают Триальные версии... такие же, какие вкладывают на дисках в коробки с лицензионными версиями...
всё отличие в файле ЕКБ на флешке в коробке

Hey guys,

When installing STEP 7 Professional V15.1, what licenses are included in the 6ES7822-1AE05-0YA5 product?
What exact licenses should I install with EKB? Don't want to install all 27 licenses that are "required" by EKB.

Is there a general rule of thumb to know exactly what licenses are required?
When looking at "Missing keys" from "Automation License Manager", there is like 34 missing keys right after installing STEP 7 Professional V15.1.
