hello,
we have Redundant system with 2 cpu with THIS ORDER 4HJ00-0AB0 V3.0.1 . one of the cpu was destroyed and we buy another cpu with order 4HJ00-0AB0 V3.1.3 .
HOW we can update old cpu with new cpu's firmware please help us.

Hi,
First You have to download firmware file from internet. Look at following link
http://support.automation.siemens.com/W ... viewreg=WW
afterward start STEP7 select Your CPU (CPU414-4h) and select PLC->Update Firmware. Press Browse.. to find firmware file and check box 'Activate firmware after download' and press Run. But first You have to establish connection with Your CPU.
