What software use with PG to troubleshoot Profibus network? Ideal solution is just a program that use my Profibus interface and build network structure and check all stations status even if bus is in a fault state.

I thought about something more like network sniffer that analyze packets and try to evaluate Profibus network health. Similar to e.g. ProfiTrace, but whithout this special piece of hardware.

You can use the Amprolyzer from Siemens. It´s Freeware.

Can I use it with USB-MPI adapter? Requirements list says about CPs only, is it true?
