DAER FRIENDS,

I'M TRYING TO COMMISSIONS PLANT USING PCS7 V7.0 SP2 MY PROBLEM IS AS FOLLOW,I WILL APPRECIATE IF SOMEBODY HELP ME URGENTLY

I have one es with win xp pro and 2 OS-server with Server2003 and one cas with Server2003 istalled.
I'm trying to make workgroup for them so i have changed all all the workgroup "simatic-wg" and i named
my PCs AS ES="SIMATIC-ES"/OS SERVER1="SIMATIC-OSS1"/OS SERVER2="SIMATIC-OSS2"/CAS="SIMATIC-CAS1"/OS-CLIENT1-10="SIMATIC-OSC1"/"SIMATIC-OSC2",......
I also set their ip as following ES=192.168.1.21/OSS1=192.168.1.22/OSS2=192.168.1.23/CAS1=192.168.1.24/OSC1(OS CLIENT1-10)=192.168.1.25-35

Also for all of them I set login username and password as follow= username:Administrator Password:(No Password)

With SIMATIC-Shell I can See all PC and With Networkplace I' able to see them
but I cannot share folder in OS-Servers to download the OS on them
However with PCS7 I'm able to configure both OS Server Form ES
and I can Download Station Setting in OS Servers but I'm not able to download whole OS (WINCC Application) and As I said I'm not able to access to a computer from other even when I share a folder,
My firewall is Also off
and I did run the program called "simatic security" to do the security setting required but i'm not able yet

Moreover when I try to download OS (WINCC APPLICATION) from ES it says "unable to reach station"

So Please Help me urgently

Hello,

here some tips :
1. u should define a not blank password for the administrator account, and set it the same on all computers (cause of windows Policy),
2. If u rename the computers, check that the name of the station in Station configurator is the right one. Else correct it and download the HwConfig of each stations.
3. Set the PG/PC interface configuration on "PC Internal"
4. In u're project (on ES = Engineer Station) open each OS (WinCC) and check that the computer name is the one of the ES (in "Computer" Folder of WinCC, on the right)
5. Check the target folder of the OS's in the SIMATIC Manager...
