[?]: How iFIX work with PLC?

Post by BirkOFH »

what does the inscription Fix32.DDS.DR_DB122.F_384 in iFIX?
Where can I find a direct address to the controller?
Now on HMI install iFix v2.2. but i use iFix v3.5 and PLC - S7 416 series.

It means just one tag's name. Fix32 - real time data (historical - Hist), DDS - iFIX server name (where this tag located), DR_DB122 - actually tag name, F_384 - property field.
As I see, type of this tag is Digital Register (DR). You can read about this tag's type in iFIX Electronic Books - see Digital Register Block.
To see direct address you want to run iFIX application DATABASEMANAGER.EXE, where you will find additional information for each tag, e.g. driver's name, source address etc...
