[?]: Cable and soft for connection VIPA PLC

Post by simontew »

Hi All,

I need to connect to VIPA PLC 224.
I have the download cable for S7-200.
Can I use the Microwin software with the S7-200 PPI cable to connect to VIPA PLC?
Please advice.
Thanks.

Not.
You can use GREEN cable (RS232 COM port) see viewtopic.php?t=4104&highlight=green
and software WinPLC viewtopic.php?t=7501&highlight=vipa
or Step7 v5.4 + VIPA GSD files for programming
I know only Russian link

You should use Step7 and green cable, also you should download GSD-files for your PLC. How to connect to Vipa from Step7 is described here.
