[?]: Emergency Authorization Key (X*.EKB)

Post by wendrahooreg »

Hi all,

I would like to ask whether
it is possible to create an emergency authorization key from the original or not.
I'm just interested in this.
Can anybody supply me some information?
I already have searched google and this forum without any progress.
If you could supply me with an emergency authorization key set, that would be great too.

Thank you.

Hi CoMod,

I think it is only possible to install rental license with the new long license. I tried to install the rental option with an old short authorization, and what I get is a single authorization, not a rental one. I have heard that the old short authorizations do not have the rental option, instead they have the emergency authorization which can be taken from the corresponding yellow disk. And I have tried creating the yellow disk for the authorization too, and there is still no sign of the emergency authorization.

Do you have any other solution? Thank you for your reply by the way.

From me no solution for X-keys.
I do not support the temporary license X* and SITT*.
You can try to find old Yellow Disk Images with X-keys.

OK, thanks CoMod. At least that clears things out. Well then, anyone has an old image of Yellow Disks containing X-keys? It would be even better if it is ProTool RT licenses.

Oh yeah, CoMod, do you have any idea where I can find these old images? I've searched through google, but up until now, I can not find any. Thanks
