D435 problem
is D435 going stop? is your program has fault tasks for cpu faults? if not then make a few dammy task and include it to TimeFaultTask, TimeFaultBackGroundTask, TechnologicalFaultTask, PeripheralFaultTask, ExecutionFaultTask in Execution System. When system get any fault then CPU wont stop.

I had once the problem with undervoltage with D425. I had 10 axis machine and some axis stop works with undervoltage error (the axis was faulted without feedback this information to D425). There was also one solution to force it works-power off an power on supply. It was a firmware bug. What`s your firmware rev.? Upgrade to latest one. Try to contact siemens support in Germany if problems still existing.

There is the procedure how to upgrade the firmware including latest firmware download.
http://support.automation.siemens.com/W ... n/31045047
don`t fotget backup licences and retain data before firmware changes.

I forget to inform you for change from your version to latest one will need upgrade device in HW config, update technology packages and sinamics in scout (see siemens manuals or FAQ on Scout installation discs). I don`t remember the firmware revision with my problems with siemens bug, but it was 4.0.x. I recommend you to upgrade the latest firmware asap.

Hi,
You need a CF card reader to read the CF. You must get one (maybe in a computer's store).
Then, you'll be able to back up the folders with the Keys and Data Retain from the Windows' Explorer (or another OS you have), delete the other folders and archives, and copy the new firmware d435.bin to the CF.
If you are using Scout 4.0, you must get Scout 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 to install the lastest firmware upgrade.

You'll have to upgrade the sinamics too.
Good Luck!

Unfortunately, you can't back up the Scout program from the flash card. It's the same as Siemens HMI Panels or PCS7 programs in S7400... You can't recovery the source code. You only have the compiled program in the CF to make a copy. So, without the source code, you won't be able to modify or debug the program
However, some programmers saves a .zip copy of the Scout program in the CF... Maybe, if you are so lucky, you'll find this archived file in CF... but it's an improbable thing.
Regards
