[?]: Calibration of B&R (Provit 2000) Touch Screen

Hello,

I got a problem, I have replaced a toucscreen of B&R Provit 2000 (Part No. 5d2210.01). But after replacement I found an issue, the screen display everything normally, but the touch sensitivity expand (i.e. to click object on the top, we need to touch above that object, which is not possible).

When I went through the iPC application and documentation, I found that the PC is DOS Based and I need to re-install touch screen configuration software i.e. ELODEV. After installing this software, I can re-calibrate the touch screen of the PC.

Now the issue is, the iPC is connected to a live control system. Any error may cause emergency shutdown. We are currently operating via key board. We even need to install mouse drivers, if we go to mouse.

Further there is option for LPT and FDD communication to connect floppy drive, but now a days external floppy drives are no more available. I will manage to connect Floppy or Zip drive, but will my application will work after installation and calibration or need to do anything in the HMI Application.
