Dear Friend

All what you need to check is the PLC communication protocol that the PLC will work with , i know that almost all SCADA software supports Mitsubishi PLC's, but i don't have any idea about the CTC PLC.

Send more details about the CTC PLC so that we can provide more help.

Any way you can use the Indusoft SCADA software which is a very powerful & Flexible at the same time.

How about u help me in mitsubishi PLC 1st..

the plc location is like this

(1)(Q series)---(100meter)--(2)(Qseries x3pcs & A series x2pcs)(every mc gap 10meter)---(20 meter)--(3)(Qseries x3pcs & A series x2pcs)(every mc gap 10meter)---(100 meter)--(4)(Q series)

i planing want tho lick this.

1) All plc at location (2) goto 1 hub and (3) goto 1 hub and lastly all the location join to 1 main hub. Can i do like this. or have other batter way.

really i didn't use the Mitsubishi PLC before.

but if they have an ethernet connection , for sure you can connect one group to one hub,and the remaining to the other hub and access all of them from one main hub or location.

ok thank..
normally u use what PLC. and how u design the system. u use many hub or all of them connect to 1 hub.

for what i read in the catalog the Mitsubishi and ctc have Ethernet card module.. but i still under study for this.

normally scada system will be design for what purpose?

my company want design the scada for
1) monitoring Up/DN m/c time.
2) error code.
3) data setting.
4) input/output production.

can u give me other application i can put in my scada system where i design.

I usually use telemecanique plc's.and i connect all ethernet enabled devices to one hub as i don't have usually more than one PLC in my configuration.

any way you can use SCADA for:

- Alarm announcement
- Reporting
- Modifying of variables and parameters
- Trending of variables
- Logging data to database
- Analyzing of historical values
- monitoring Up/DN m/c time. (with little code programming)
- input/output production
and much much more, from the name SCADA (Which is Supervisory control & Data Acquisition) you can conclude its range of applications.
