PIW addresses must exist in Your hardware configuration. See attachment. Work fine in my configuration.

I know that the PIW are included into the hardware configuration.

I have reload a old projec whit a 315 cpu and all working fine, but if i use a 317 or a 400 series
if i write a piw gerathe than 254 , a "not valid" message apper on the top of the Input window

I dont know why

Is'nt a big problem, i copy my block into a projet whit 315 cpu and play... but ...

-----

Another problem : I have only a real cpu in my office, and now whit the customer i want to test the software.
I can force digital input whitout problem but i have te same problem, like PLCSIM : i can't write a value
into a piw or iw greather then 254 .
anyone have an idea ?
For further info i have a cpu 412

thank you

Hi,
I try to test with Your configuration (CPU412) and on my pc all work without any problems. For test i put
l piw512
t mw0
and change piw512 in plcsim with slider. I can see all changes in STEP7 when I turn on monitoring, I have STEP7 5.4 SP4 and PLCSIM 5.4 SP3
Did You download Your hardware configuration?
