Is there any protection other than the ridiculous know-how protect?
I mean to protect the blocks of the program with a password, similar than with the S7-200.
In the Simatic manager I see "access protection" but can not use that menu.
do I need to install some other software?
Many thanks

Hello,
Look at http://support.automation.siemens.com/W ... n/10154913 . Only one thing - all doors have keys (somewhere). Sometimes even is not necessary.
With regards,
Umencho

dear Scarch to use menu "access protection" in step7. It is necessary in addition to install program "simatic logon" http://support.automation.siemens.com/W ... 2&x=24&y=8Scarch wrote: In the Simatic manager I see "access protection" but can not use that menu.
