[?]: No communication between OP77B and S5 103 CPU

I want to connect HMI OP77B to S5 103 cpu.
I have configured Op trough wincc flexible and downloaded to OP77B. While configuring i have selected PLC as S5 103 and protocall AS511.
Written simple program to CPu with one Db ( Db11).
These Db values are to be Read/changed from OP. But there is no communication between OP and PLC.
I'm using TTY converter between OP and PLC ( as a cable) .
Further i have tried with two diff TTY converters ( both active and passive).
Also I can go ONLINE to CPU with S5 easily with these converters.
Most important is that if i put my OP77B wincc flexible project to RUN TIME ( RT) by coonecting TTY converter between PC and PLC there is comminication between the.
I can change /read values.
So i have checked OP77B's Rs port by downloading configuration again to it with RS cable is works.
But still there is no communication between OP77B and PLC cpu.
Pl help me. I'm on this project for several days.

Hi,
you have to use a specific procedure for that old PLC.
You must use specific Siemens FB and you have to define the DB used for communication.
As I know can be conected to an S5 PLC by serial conection .
Have you do this things already ?

In the manual it is claerly given that no special FB is required for S5 communication. This special FB is required for OP7 PP HMI panel for S5 with protool. And FB required if Fb51 and Db51. I hv tried this also. But still there is communication

I think you have to do following:

In startmenu you have to choose: Info/Settings ▶ Logon/Settings ▶ Transfer Settings

Then you have to choose Channel 1: Enable (remote off)

I had the same problem with a S5-130W CPU and a OP77B. By the way, i don't have any FB to communicate with the OP and it works.
