I saw this description but in manual there is no word about MPI. I'm wondering, Profibus is open standard, so anyone can build this interface, but MPI is exclusively from Siemens. Both use RS-485, but is it enough to communicate with S7?From detail description for CIF 50-PB (Profibus DP - Master card), seems yes you can.

Hi,
Did You try to install driver for that card. If it is possible than in PG/PC interface (in Control Panel or from STEP7) You can see what You can do with this card.
