Re: [Resquest] VFD Win 7
Excuse me, I don't know about your doubt.
But I would like some help, because i installed Rslogix5000 V17.01, but I don't Know how to do to work.
I have the VFDWin to create the virtual drive disk, but I think i need the file RsLogix5000.vfd ?
Could you explain How I need to do and where i can get this RsLogix5000.vfd .
Thankssssss

Re: [Resquest] VFD Win 7
If your using Windows 7 64bit, then the VFD won't work until you disable the signature driver...here is how:
1. Open a command window and type or copy the following:
bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON
2. Reboot your computer. When Windows starts back up, you'll see "Test Mode, Windows Version, and Build Number" in the lower right hand corner of your desktop.
3. At this point, your able to run Virtual Floppy Disk with no problems. The best thing to do is run VFD and run the 'Move Activations' to copy the license information to your 'C Drive'.
4. When your done transfering the activations to your C:drive, you could then run:
bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF
This will revert you system back to its original settings (after you reboot you'll notice that the information in lower right hand corner is gone).
I hope this helps, and good luck.
