PanelView plus 600 displaying error 24 on power-up and i can not manage to establish communication with.
please help me

thank you for your help but i cant reflashing the panelview because i cant establish the communication with ,also i am using the compactflash

This means that firmware was corrupted and you need to reload firmware.
There are two ways to reload it:
1. Make a CompcatFlash Card with a firmware upgrade and than install it when PV+ powers up it will automatically execute new firmware and ask you about upgrade.
2. Do it through the Firmware Tranfer Utility in FactoryTalk View Studio
The required firmware you can simply download from the rockwell website, if you cant find it let me know

You donnt need to establish a communication with PV+ if you doing upgrade using flash card. What you have to do is open RSView Studio go in Tools--->Firmware Upgrade WIzard---->Create Firmware Upgrade Card where you choose your flashcard location and firmware you want to download on this card and thats it! No communication need to be establsihed in this case, just create update card, insert it in PV+ and power it up, it will automatically start firmware upgrade process. Beleave me I've done it many times.
