[?] G-Code interpreter for S7

Post by Coyote »

Hi ,all!
I have to build a machine with 4-axes. The machine will perform simple positioning tasks, but we dont't know exactly how many movings we shall use with different types of input material. My idea was to make a simple G-code interpreter in S7 for movements only, so you don't need to change the program in PLC . The codes shall be written on a Simatic panel and executed in S7-300 PLC. If someone has an idea how to make it, or a better solution - it doesn't have to be trully a G-code - I need only to change a positioning profile (different number of small movements of different speeds). The used servos will probably be SEW-Euorodrive with Prifubus connection.
Thanks, Marko.

Siemens already contains G code interpreter. FM253,FM254 are G code orientated.
And do you already made "simple G-code interpreter" (clap)
