I need some additional information about S7 200 communications.
If I use PPI connection, what kind of parameters for link communication?
Especially such parameters as 7 bit data - 1 stop bit, or 8 bit data + 1 stop bit?
In this connection should I use control parity? (even, none, odd).
Any information about it valuable for me. Thank you.

We use S200 controller (and CP5512 communication card for programming).
Our customers is China company, we use Siemens controllers for automation. One of the Chinese manufacturer give as alternate operator panel (China manufactured).
They said that it also should works with Siemens, and their wishes use their own panel. But I couldn`t start it with S7 200 PLC.
Panel operator uses COM port for upload/download.
So... As I think this variant can be only in point-to-point link(as Siemens variant is PPI interconnection, not for any MPI interconnection).
I couldn`t find any information about it.
Thank you.

The easiest way is to find more info for the CN-panel. I mean its specification and technical data. Sorry no other possible way to find how to communicate and exchange data with it.

As I know CP5512 is programming card for MPI but S7-200 could not work with MPI
By the way, If your controller is the CPU 2xx CN then you should work with Microwin SP3 or higher

For serial communication, it is simple serial setting following:
Buad rate 19,200
8 Data bit+1 Stop bit
Parity: None
Flow control : None
Normal com port should be: COM1
