Whats the different bewteens MPI and Profibus?
If i want to connect with S7 PLC can i do that also with MPI?
Why profibus?

There are many differences between MPI and Profibus. All thay have in common is RS485 ohysical layer.
All S7-300 have MPI port, but not all have Profibus port.
So, connect, as begginer, via MPI.
