[?]: OP 17 Password

Post by mazdak »

Hi Friends
I have an OP17 (6AV3 617-1JC20-0AX1) that I have no pass level 9 for it.
Is there any possibility to remove or showing this paas?
The configuration back-up is no available. so I cannot reset the configuration.
Can u suggest me a way that I could upload the configuration in PG and see it via
Protool without need to know the password?
Sincerely
Mazdak

1. Power OP17 off
2. Press "Esc"+"Up" and power OP17 on.
OP17 in mode "Transfer"
3. Use program Prosave make Backup OP17.
4. Password detect use viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8598

Dear PPP
I followed your Instructions to put the OP17 in transfer mode and get the back-up file ".psr"
Then I used the Prosave Decoder to generate "result.txt" and it shows the pass as :00000100 (I guess it should be default pass)
Now, I have 2 questions:
1- Which pass level is this? (I've seen in Op17 manual that some actions need Pass level 9 and some the lower levels)
2- How can I get the source configuration of OP17 that could be seen or modified via protool ?
Sincerely

No way, you need the original file, the psr is used as a backup only. The decoder is useful to know the tags, in case you want to use another operator panel. Password 100 is the original one.
