Re: S5 PLC problem
After your DO there is an 4 Channel module (WFxxx or IPxxx?).
Your pictures shows an PEU (periphery not clear) and stops at OB23 with a Stopcommand.
So I think this module is your problem!
Take a look at FB57!

Re: [?]: S5 135 PLC problem
PEU means in your program is coded a direct access to the peripherie like L PEW or T PAW (german mnemonik).
Your 1st error picture shows an stop comand as the cause of your problem (cause of interrupt STP).
The place is OB23 on relative adress 08h (REL-SAC). Your last FB before stop was the FB57. I guess this one handels your module.
Your 2nd error picture shows a PEU (peripherie unclear) and a QVZ (acknowledgement delay).
The reason for these two errors is an module which communicate over the peripherie like your IP or WF or else.
Not DI or DO, here you would have an ADF (adress failure) at restart.
If you don't understand anything of i discribed, sorry for that. It is not so easy with the S5 if you don't have any experience.

Re: [?]: S5 135 PLC problem
from my s5d program
it has 316 blocks
if i transfer all block to PLC Stop, BASP, QVZ Led is ON
and all output led is off but input led is on
if i delete OB13 & OB20 block from PLC then, Stop & QVZ led is off. Run & BASP LED is ON
(see attached s5d on zip)
i already try cold warm reset
now can you tell me how can i solve my problem??
which card is faulty digital input card or digital output card or...........??
i checked 24v in output it is all right but why there is no led on in digital output?
if 1 digital output card is faulty then every digital output card will stop working??
PLEASE TELL ME HOW CAN I SOLVE MY PROBLEM??
THANKS

If I remember, you should go to the FB47 in CPU, then show addresses (F1 or Shift F1 key) and look at address E213 or previous line. I think, there will be an access to some periphery. And this periphery is your problem. Good luck.

Re: [?]: S5 135 PLC problem
But your pictures are the some like above ...
1. Is the CPU in the Central rack?
2. Connect to the CPU, open FB47 (Editor -> Step 5 Block, Source CPU),then switch into STL representation (Shift F5) and show addresses (Shift F1). Look for address E213 and send a screen snap.
Yes, this is a hardware defect. Maybe only a contact, maybe some card is wrong. You need to determine which one.

Re: [?]: S5 135 PLC problem
Your Problem is the card after the DO. If you are not able to tell us what card is plugged, we cannot say what you can do.
And don't look to FB47, look to FB57. Here is the command like L PEW or T PEW. So we can see what card is the issue for your problem.
Your problem IS NOT any Digital Input or Output!!!!
So believe it or not, it's your choise.

Re: [?]: S5 135 PLC problem
If your CPU is in Stop and so you have BASF it is normal you don't have an Output Signal.
I think you are not the right man for this problem.

I agree with centipede... The problem with the cards whose address contains PY 224 or PY 240... I suspect this cards are high speed counter IP242 (after the DO-cards)

Re: [?]: S5 135 PLC problem
OK, your problem is the IP242 6ES5 242-1AA13.
It's a 5 Channel Fast Counter Module, very old.
I think you have 2 of them.
The 1st uses the PW 224-239, the 2nd 240-255.
Wich of them is broken are not responsive, you can only check if you are online. So the FB57 is in use several times in your program, for the 1st and for the 2nd IP242.
Normaly you take the part of the 2nd one out of the program and look what happen.
Check the OB20 and OB22, here you have the start OBs with twice the FB161 and twice the FB191 each for each IP.
Now this is your part, show what you have learned.
If you have an other IP242, so change it (check the Jumpers, Settings!).
Or you try it by the Indian Method (from Siemens forum )

Re: [?]: S5 135 PLC problem
Pls tell us how many IP242 do you have in your PLC?
I always see only one IP242 on your picture. The 2. is an IP243 (near the CPU). It is completely different to the IP242.
If you have only one, than your program is the problem. It's written for 2xIP242.
Are you sure thats your program is written for this PLC?
Do you have only a online copy or do you have a complete with symbolic and comments?
Pls delete the OB23 in the CPU, make a restart, check the istack, make hardcopys and show us.
If your machine don't stop (cause of DX0 parameters) load an OB23 only with a STP command inside in the PLC.

Sorry I just see it now....
If DB18 D31.0 = 0 than you only have one IP242. Its for a other type of machine.
So I think your IP242 is broken. I hope for you, you have a spare part.
Otherwise look at Eba...!

Re: [?]: S5 135 PLC problem
The PB,OB and FB of the programms are the same.
The 51170E is a backup of the PLC, the Schoed is the Offline Version.
Definitly your IP242 is not accessable, if you don't have made any changes before on the IP I'm sure its broken.
You need a sparepart.
I think we can finish the search, you must change the module.

normaly the powersupply makes a shutdown if it have a fan fault.
15V never exists if you don't have a 15V module inside the PS.

Ok, for testing....
there is a connector (switch) inside the PowerSupply named F-R. Normaly closed, if you will open the PS don't make a shutdown if it have fanfault.
It is only for testing, the 135U needs the fans!
Why you don't post the Modelnumber of your spare PS??
I can't say if it's ok or not without the MLFB (6ES5...).

Are you sure you have the correct settings on the IP?

Re: [?]: S5 135 PLC problem
You cannot have an QVZ with the Digital Equipment. Your Istack says the last called Block befor OB23 was FB57, this Block read and write to the IP242. It's the 1st block communicate to the IP in FB161 in OB20.
Anyway you can check the Cardadress if pull the card out of the rack, than you see dill-switches on the rightside of every card.
Also the Analogue-Card.
Good Luck, You'll need it.

In these blocks are the code for the IP and some else.
Look for a person next to you, which can help with Step5.
Now it's not so easy to help you more.
