I have a module HE693THM884 http://www.heapg.com/Documentation/90-3 ... 009513.pdf to which the thermocouple is plugged. Configuration is as in the manual. The system is to function like this: when the thermocouple is connected, the program for 3 seconds checks if all is ok, then the yellow light switches on which means 'ready to measure'. The operator then inserts a probe into the liquid steel, and here the program detects that the temperature is higher than the preset value and turns on the green light. After 5 seconds the red light signifying the end of the measurement switches on.
