Arena software used for ?

I know this software from AB wed size but I want know what is it used for ?

Arena is more of a large scale visual management simulation package for a whole business. Me being only a lowly programmer have never had any need for it. RSTestStand on the other hand is very useful to programmers. It allows you to visually simulate a plc program. Very useful for checking timing and "what if" situations.
