The optimized creation of messages significantly reduces the creation time and number of message instances.
This optimization is the default setting. You can still use the old procedure by deselecting the new option "Optimized creation of messages" in the "Messages" tab of the "Report System Error" dialog box.
Note: You should always delete all blocks with the "SFM" programming language prior to generation when you change from the old procedure to the optimized creation of messages.
You delete the respective blocks either in the SIMATIC Manager or in the "Report System Error" dialog box with the "Delete" button.
Channel-specific diagnostics with an ET200SiSP has been improved.
Topology Editor
