[?]: TIA Portal V10.5 SP2 problem with Windows7

Hi all!

Does anyone expirienced problem with strange behaviuor of TIA Portal? This peace of S*IT gives me a lot of trouble.

It craches often, showing message

'Storage media was removed' (????) and could not compile HMI (at 10% shows message 'Cannot access project path').

It also crashes when language is added (or removed) then saved.
It also can create new project only in few directories (????) at external drive (????).
This happens with Windows7 (not approved by Siemens) and also with Vista Ultimate SP1 (approved by Siemens).

STEP 7 Basic V10.5 is not released for Windows 7 and Windows Vista SP2 (64-bit version).

Hello Comod, it is 32-bit OS I use.

i was today on a TIA Information Day and asked for this problem.
TIA 11 is working on Win7 but only on 32bit.
They hope, that they will have a 64bit Version in the end of this year...

Hello!
Maybe you shloul tell this guys that TIA is NOT WORKING on my laptop, neither on Vista Ultimate SP1 neither on Windows7 Ultimate.
Since now, I only try to make it work on XP.
All my tree machines are ASUS brand (A4800G, M51VN, M70V) and have no problems with any other software.
TIA is having problem with .NET, since it works on old V2 framework.

P.S. dear OMORON - NT supprot tool work on Win95, Win2000, WinXP, Vista, 7...
