[?]: Replacement CPU318 to VIPA315SB

Could anybody help me out? We have CPU318 run on our equipment.
Since they are out of manufacturing by Siemens can we replace them smoothly with VIPA315SB running the same programm (regarding the fact that they have similar identification in Step7.Hardware)

In that case you always need to download the gsd files from VIPA and install them.

Then download the manual and go thrue the step by step procedure.

I've done it before and at first it is a little bit searching.

But it is possible.
