WinCC/DataMonitor vs. PM-QUALITY

Post by micha »

Whoever has had an experience with these WinCC software options/add-ons, please advice:
which WinCC option (WinCC/DataMonitor or PM-QUALITY) I should choose to achieve the following requirement:

*Data collection from various mixers and reactors PLCs including beginning and ending of batch time, batch profile values with Operator ID, batch number, and product code
*Extract historical data and use it to construct detail history of each production batch and thus enable the comparison of batch conditions to those of a standard or ideal batch
*Batch specific reports

I noticed that DataMonitor specification doesn't say that it has ability to graph data and measure variance between ideal/control and offspec/variant batches, but gives more other powerful reporting tools.
Thanks.
