I'd like to ask a question,
is there a PID function block for heat/cool operation for s7-300
Best regards.

Hi,
Try function blocks FB58 (Continuous Temperature Controller "TCONT_CP") and FB59 (Temperature Step Controller FB59 "TCONT_S")
Search word(s): pid temperature control

many thanks for your replay ,
i need a function block with two settings (pid parameters), one for heat and the other for cool.
concerning heat i will use SSR for heats , and for cooling i will use relay for blowers

Hi,
I don't know what SSR stand for, but for turning on/off of blower You can use Pulse generator output (take a look pages 25-27). Parameters of PID function block You can find on appendix A.3.

The Regulator of the cooling differs from regulator of the heating, that that when cooling is used negative factor to propotions.

You can use one PID regulator with mapping of output manipulated value for heating and for cooling. If error is positive than You use mapping for cooling and vice versa.

FB59, it is the typical application for an extruder, with heating resistors and cooling fans. I have used it several times.
