[?] S7-315PN/DP comunication to S7-400/CP443-1 via ethernet

Post by reymond_craig »

Good day, I just want to ask if there's a way to communicate CPU351PN/DP to S7-400 CPU with CP443-1 using ethernet network.
And also please provide the block to communicate these two CPU's.

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards,
Reymond

Hi,
If You want to use DSEND and BRCV You should configure S7 connection in NetPro.

(sfaq) How do you configure a specified and an unspecified S7 connection for data exchange between S7-300 and/or S7-400 by way of Industrial Ethernet CPs?

Dear Colleagues,

Happy new year....

My concern is, what should be the block to be use in order to communicate Integrated PROFINET of 315 PN/DP to CP443-1. I'am doing offline programming right now and hopefully do the commissioning by january.

Best regards,
Reymond

Hi,
Take a look this manual
https://support.automation.siemens.com/ ... earch.aspx
(sfaq) http://support.automation.siemens.com/W ... n/20982954
Use of proper communication function depends of characteristic of communication partners, amount of data to be exchanged and type of communication (uni- or bi- direction, with or without acknowledgement...)
