Hi all

if I have plc s7-414H the version for the software is v5.4 sp5, but I have software ver5.5,
if I upload by this version it will have any bad effect or not?

You can use new software Step7 5.5 SP* with old hardware without problems.
You can use some new hardware (not all) with old Step7 5.* - but with some problems and restrictions. For PN is prerequired Step7 5.5 SP*.
The new CPUs can be programmed with STEP 7 V5.* + SP* and higher and Hardware Update HSP (Hardware Support Package).
You can download the Hardware Update with STEP7 via the Internet http://support.automation.siemens.com/W ... n/23183356
or Use the command Extras -> Install HW Updates under STEP7 -> Configure Hardware for this purpose.
For Step7 v11 - you can use hardware from STEP7_V11_Support_HW_List.pdf only
