[?]: System Plataform 3.1 Platform communication alarm!!!

hello,

I am working with system platform 3.1, with a server-clients architecture galaxy, and I need to have an alarm triggered when I lose comunication with a client Platform PC (ex: pc shutdown).
I have tried doing a scrips on an engine on one of the servers, that checks, for instance, when the Tagname atribute of the Platform changes its value, but when the pc is "down", the status of the atribute is in "CommunicationError" mode, and the script doesnt assume the value.

As any one had this problem?
