My existing Memory card for one of my turning machines was gone due to some reason.
And this problem comes to be worse when we realize that we dint kept any copy of the flash file for that memory card and there is no record of the CD that comes with the machine also.
So far as I know, If I buy this memory card from Open market or ebay then I need to format it using some abb file and SinuCom.
So, is that mean I have no choice unless spending some money for Siemens?
Or someone at here can provide me the abb file?
Honestly I don't have much experience in this machine, so hopefully some one can help me out.
p/s:I just have the PCin software with *.NCK and *.PLC file.

you need to possibility An original card
(linux format, copy is difficult)
Buy this best on ebay or something.
Important, you need the proper firmware version
(Match PLC, NCK, MMC versions should be correct)
Whitch MMC do you have ?
MMC100, MMC103 ?
PCMCI-Card must be for 810D ! (840D do NOT work)

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
Printed sticker on the PLC there showing its 810DE CCU1, Software VERS 2.4, and the card slot is big enough for PCMCIA.
I'm not sure mine is MMC100 or MMC103, I try check it under service menu but warning "no access right" show up.
Actually I try to backup data from my machine since there should be some build in memory storage,
but after that I realize that its impossible because my machine only have memory around 480KB.
Please consult me....
Thanks.

Hi
Do you have a Harddisk in MMC ?
If yes, then you have a MMC103.
You can make a Picture from the MMC1xx backside --> then you can read the Type and Siemens-Number.
Plese give this Infos.
