Primary Setup Tool (PST) version 4.1 for Windows 7 (32/64 Bit) enables you to perform address allocations (e.g. IP address) for SIMATIC NET network components, Ethernet CPs and gateways.

The precondition is that these SIMATIC NET devices have a preset ETHERNET (MAC) address and are accessible on-line in the network.

Remark:
The address setting can also be done with STEP 7 (see STEP7 documentation). In the near future it will be possible to perform more address settings for SIMATIC NET Ethernet products via PST Tool and STEP 7.
