[?]: How to use VIPA 313SC PtP port in Simatic Manager

Post by leavesjay »

Hi
I have seen the VIPA catalog , its 300s series like 313SC have a PtP port , can be used for Modbus Master. But what should I do in the HW Config of SIMATIC MANAGER. I already have download the SFC216, SFC217, SFC218

I already in a CP343-1 for Ethernet communication

Could you help me ? There's only a few people use VIPA in China. I need connect it with a Mitsubishi Q PLC, and if possible , I want to communicate with others, like Schneider HMI , some temperature controller with modbus。

Thanks

The VIPA 313SC (313-5BF13) having port called RS485 . no need for any hardware configuration. you have to use VIPA LIB blocks called SFC216,SFC217and SFC 218.

In Step7 make the configuration with 6ES7 313-5BF03-0AB0 V2.6. About configuration of PtP check in http://www.vipa.com/uploads/tx_sbdownlo ... _12-29.pdf
