CPU old version with CP recently version

Hi everyone! Look, I need to communicate a S7400 PLC with a Schneider Panel (Magelis) with Ethernet protocol, however PLC coupler ( 6ES7-443-IEX11-0XE0 ) its useless so the dilema is the following:

That CP can't be purchased because it's obsolete already, so its substitute is CP 6ES7-443-IEX20-0XB0.

S7400 CPU is 6ES7-414-3XM05-0AB0 (an old version), so I don't know if will be a problem during download procedure because CPU is older and CP is newer.

Will be firmware error or similar during/after download?

The other way I have is to purchase a gateway (LUFP, from Schneider) ProfibusDP/ModbusTCP to communicate Magelis Panel with S7400, but I don't know anything about ModbusTCP (sincerly, I would like to have some examples or something)

seems to check out fine in simatic manager

Hi! Thanks for your advice and you're right (I check it alredy), but one thing I worry about if the program that CPU has would be corrupted because CP different version.

yes , you will have to reconfigure your hardware , you cant just replace old cp with new one in hardware without reconfigure , do not make upload and replace cp in hardware without reconfigure , youre cpu will go down
