Good day all,
I would like to know if it possible to communicate between a s7-1200 and a PC station without a CP?
Is it possible to use only the IE general or do you need to have an actual CP to send data over Ethernet?

You can connect s7-1200 direct to PC onboard Ethernet card or use external switch

Thanks for the reply,
I can access the variables using OPC Scout, however I am also using WINLC RTX and I cannot seem to get access to the data from the PLC. I have been trying to use PUT and GET blocks but could not get it to work.
