The problems has started a couple weeks ago :
Randomly 2-3 times per shift an error appeared
communication driver fault 645
after pressing the touch screen another error appeared
communication driver fault 637
After restarting the device , the machine worked normally
But now after booting an alarm appears
MINOR FAULT 1007
COMMUNICATION FAULT 649 0,0
• The panel view is connected via CONTROLNET with a controlLogix (1756-PA72/B)
• The CPU (LOGIX5555) is on Run mode
• The controlNET card has two leds :
On: is flashing green
Channel A : is flashing red
On the controlNet display there is a message:
NET ERROR
%C07
Kp0V
nC00
nV00
A#01
• The panel view on the back on the right side has two leds
Both of them are off after booting
thanks

Re: PANEL VIEW 1000 :communication Driver fault
no changes have been made to the net configuration
Also the cables and the terminal seems to be ok.
is it possible that the controlnet card is been defective?

yes. its can be. use "RSNetWorx for ControlNet" for check net config and condition of the net-card.
repack connector cable is also good (if the system is not new).
