CPU 400 H V6.0 Issue

Hi All,

I am using Siemens newly launch CPU for H-System. CPU 412-5 PN/DP(6ES7 412-5HK06-0AB0). As per Siemens claim CP is not required for Fault-Tolerant connection for Wincc. We can achieve by using integrate port of CPU on ISO on TCP. I am not able to configure the Fault-Tolerant connection with my PC Station. If anybody achieve this before please guide me how to achieve fault tolerant condition for Wincc. I am using following software/hardware for my project.

1. CP1623
2. Simatic Net 8.1
3. Red-Connect
4. Wincc 7.0 SP3
5. Step 7 5.5 SP2 HF4

Hi Yogi,


I have already tried that and unfortunately the in built Ethernet ports in the V6.0 CPUs don't support RED CONNECT. You will have to get the 443-1 CPs to achieve redundancy with WinCC
