Roboguide V8.1056 Rev.C

Hello all,

I've downloaded Roboguide V8.1056 Rev.C from the Fanuc FTP server.
The 30 day trial is over and I need to reactivate the software again before I go to their system training.
I've found a solution in another post and tried it but it didn't work.
The post I'm referring to : viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5518&p=42667&hilit=roboguide#p42667

Can anybody help me solve this problem ?

Beside that, if anybody is interested in the software, let me know.

It's possible to reactivate Roboguide to new 30 days.

Use the software TRIAL RESET.

I have used this solution for Roboguid V7 but i have just intalled the V8, so i have not tested trial reset again.

Hello all,

After a long search for better options I finally found a way to fix my problem.
It's not the best solution but it works.

Install the software as usual.
Run it for like 30 day’s

If the software reaches it’s time then uninstall the software

1. Use the program “Trial-Reset”. I’ve tested version 4.0 Final.
2. Go to the menu called protection plus
3. Select “Scan generic” from the pull down menu.
4. From the same pull down menu select “Clear”
5. Reboot the computer
6. Reinstall RoboGuide
7. Reboot the computer

Done !

Hope this helps others as well.

Hello all,

I just got the latest version from Fanuc.
It has support for several new robots and its called RoboGuide V8 Ref. E
It also has new controller software v8.13 - R-30iB

P.m. me for more information.

This will reset your 30 day trial, after it ends:

Uninstall handlingpro/simpro/related components,

Delete these registry keys:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{10459-d3d485b5-84d3-4f7b-acec-468ca308fdf0}
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{14742-df3ae7e1-0132-4a0b-a142-91977fc93e22}
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{801c08d1-cd91-486f-a44d-308cf5a69e3b}
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{8a05a2f8-6397-4b9a-8498-0d044d7655da}

Delete these files:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\ES2TPCPS.ocx
C:\WINDOWS\system32\INVDPB8V.ocx

Reinstall handlingpro/simpro, it should be good for another 30 days.

The solution as I wrote works with V8 Rev E as well.
I'm not sure about your solution, but off course you can try that too.

It still would be better if anyone could find a real solution for the trial key.

esta solución funciona. solo hay que aclarar bien los pasos.

1.- ejecutar el trial reset 4 (como administrador)
2.- buscar la opción PROTECTION PLUS
3.- ejecutar SCAN GENERIC
4.- ejecutar CLEAR
5.- desinstalar roboguide
6.- reiniciar pc
7.- instalar roboguide
8.- reiniciar pc
9.- funcionando 30 días mas

Hi,
thankx a lot. It works!
But the Trial-reset.exe is detected as a virus from my system. I've run it, and then deleted (keeping just the .zip archive for future necessity...)

Is it normal? Have I download an infected version?

RoboGuide v8 RevE has a known bug regarding ProfiBus configuration.
