Hello Guys. I am A NewBie To Automation.
I am Production Supervisor. I am also Knowledgeable Person Of Computer Operating Systems. Engineering Department Of my Plant is unable to solve Problem In Milk Pasteurizer. Our Machine is Of GEA With 20,000 Litter Capacity.
In Pasteurizer We have Flow Diversion Valves, Temperature Sensors, Flow Meter, One Pneumatic Steam Valve with sensor, And 2 Milk Pumps. Thats It.
We had KEPServerEx But That stopped working Then Some Body Uninstalled from The Computer.
During Error Message I seen Name of HMI in The computer. That HMI.exe stopped working.
We also Have Vijeo Citiect Runtime in The same computer. in that some thing Graphic Map Of The Plant Is still exist.
I want The Pasteurizer work with The Computer Again.
Now are handling Plant Manually. We have electric Part of Siemens.
Just software Trouble. HardWare is Fine.
If you Need any Additional Information The ask I will Provide. Thanks A lot in Advance for your Time.

Re: Production Plant Automation software Removed
Hello there
So you have a project file for Citect for the plant which has the graphics you require.
Does the Citect connect to the Hardware and communicate or did it use the KEPServerEx to communicate to the hardware?
You said that the KEPServerEx stopped working so someone uninstalled it???
Why did it stop working?
I would be restoring the KEPServerEx software and restore its configuration.
Otherwise you will be reprogramming the Citect to communicate to the devices you want and for that you will need the PLC code to reference the correct addresses.

Thanks a Lot Peter For your Kind Reply.
I have ReInstalled KEPServerEx 5.
Now The main_page(InterFace Where we Moniter And Control pasturizer) is started Loading again..
But it is Not Working. Neither it is monitoring Nor controlling . Just Loading And displaying Components of Plant.
Currently I am getting Following Error Messages.
1. HmiSmartStart.exe - Application Error
The Application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click on Ok To terminate the Application.
Another Error is in Vijeo Citect RunTime Manager..
In This Process ID- 3704 Process Name cl1.io_ser1
Process Type is- IOServer
Status- Not Responding
Please can you tell me what should i do now?

at a guess the IOserver is linked to the KEPServerEx somehow.
Reinstalling the software allows it to be available but have you configured what need to work.
I am guessing that the KEPServerEx is not working correctly.
Does it see values out in the PLC like a temperature.
If that is working then you need to get citect to talk to the IO server.
Can you contact the original person who installed the software??
