Dear All,

I install Allen bradley RSLOGIX 500 ver 8.3 , run this software, but software cannot be opened.
the message is

" this product is not correctly installed ! please reinstall it to repair the problem "

using windows xp pro sp3.

please help me what the problem ?

The error message says it all really. Try a repair from the control panel, if that fails then uninstall completely and try again.

I was try, that but still problem. I try to uninstall and then install again, but still problem.
what wrong with my software, is Rslinx problem ?

It's highly possible that it's due to an invalid serial number.
You can correct this in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Rockwell Software\RSLogix 500 English\UserInfo

A valid serial for RSLogix 500 is 1012169604

How about RSlogix 500 ver 8.4, is it have a same serial number like ver 8.3 ?

Yes, that serial number will work for all versions.
