Hello
I have the following questions with prosoft module for ControlLogix
I have a ControlLogix redundant system.
And I prosoft remote racks with modules (Modbus), I have to read data from a redundant master system.
I have configured the module as a slave to read redundant master computer.
I have heard that does not work, the modules do not work prosoft to monitor redundant systems.
Anyone have a solution?
thanks

Re: ControlLogix Redundant Modbus
Mr_Alex,
I'm not 100% sure what you are asking, but the redundant ControlLogix racks will only support ControlNet or Ethernet/IP network communications with switchover - you cannot add a Prosoft module to each rack with a view to redundant modbus comms - is that what you mean? The only way to do this is would be to add an additional rack to the redundant (ControlNet or Ethernet I/P) network with a single Prosoft modbus card so that the primary controller can maintain modbus comms to the other equipment.

Re: ControlLogix Redundant Modbus
Hello Pushmere
I have a redundant system with ethernet, and a remote rack prosoft modbus modules.
I want to monitor another system modbus, but that system is redundant master.
I would have to use 2 ports configured as slaves to the redundant system monitor?
I hope I explained.
thanks
