[?]: how to edit the hardware configuration of a old project

Hello everyone i need some help, i have a original backup program of a simatic project but the problem is that it is read only program especially on the hardware configuration i cannot replace old cpu with the new one.
The original project was created simatic version5.4
and now we are using simatic 5.5 version to adapt a new cpu but the problem i cannot edit the hardware configuration for replacing new cpu, it always say on the dialog box, "no changes can be made", pls help
