If you bought RMIO with firmware for your drive type (inverter type) then you don't need do anything. When you turn on (first 2-3 seconds) a drive, if all alright, you will see your type of drive on the screen.
If you use RMIO from another drive or RMIO with another firmware (not standart for example) you need to select the correct inverter type or (if firmware different from your) installed correct firmware.
Select correct inverter type you can from drive panel or with DriveWindows (par. 112).
To install new firmware you need DriveWindows or special ABB software for installation.

In THIS topic Linkinx64 gave the link for downloading (DriveWindow_v2.30.zip). I checked, it's working. It on Filefactory but you don't need to registrate or something.
