Upload AB PLC 5

Hi All,

I am newbie to PLC AB.
What software and programming cable that used for upload program from AB PLC 5 ?
Can the programming cable made by our self ?
Any special advice ?

Howdo,

You will need RSLogix5 & RSLinx software and an RS232 cable as a minimum. There are other connectivity options available depending on the PLC5 type, but the serial cable will probably be the cheapest option for you.

that right....,, you can use serial cable RS232 or USB to DH+ interface for download and upload, if you use PLC5 Ethernet, first you can download with USB to DH+ and set IP address and then you can upload/download or online with ethernet (UTP cable )
RSLogix 5 for PLC Programming and RSLinx for communication interface to PLC5
