Rockwell4Free - AUTOMATED ACTIVATION! Released

Post by Link »

Hey guys!

Well I downloaded some of AB softwares from here and found out activating is sort of confusing for lots of people including myself... so I then figured out grace period is the best thing I mean who tries to activate even before this period ends... Most of us worry about that until it's over.

So when I figured out both of this things I certainly wondered how to make it easier for all of us and here it is. THIS IS NOT AN ACTIVATION, this will SAVE YOU THE TIME REQUIRED TO ACTIVATE, you will get to live by grace period all your life. AKA Automated tiralreset for ever (It resets 7 day trial each time you run it, however I recommend doing optional steps to make it run everyday that way you will never run out of grace period)

Introducing Rockwell4Free.
-Supports Windows 7 & XP
-Tested with Studio 5000, RSLogix 500 RSLinx, RSLogix 5 etc (Pretty much what everyone here uses anyway).
-Unfortunately it doesn't work with Factory Talk View
-Adding support for more software later.
-Activating now lost sense, automated dailybasis trialreset on startup.

Instructions:
1.-Install software.
2.-Download Rockwell4Free (No installation, so its portable)
3.-Place in Desktop and RUN AS ADMIN.

OPTIONAL -If you wish the software to do it's thing on a daily basis so you don't have to run it yourself
Win7: Click the Start button Picture of the Start button , click All Programs, right-click the Startup folder, and then click Open.
Create a Rockwell4Free shortcut, and move it to the Startup folder.
Done It will run automatically eat time you start your pc.

Win XP/Vista:Right click the start button.
Select "Explorer".
Windows Explorer will open and point to the start menu folder.
( usually - C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name Here\Start Menu )
Click on the subfolder named "Programs".
Click on the subfolder named "Startup".
Place any shortcuts you like in that folder. Windows will open those programs/applications automatically each time you start your computer.

Wait this is MY thread. You are taking credit for it. This would be considered stealing Intellectual property you know?
It has no virus. I could even post the source code. If I didn't was because I didn't want it to be patched...

Hi Forum users, this a copy of a post/translation from PLCmyforum re this exe. file.

Hi SHKODRAN, goggle translation of your Anti virus. Italian to English.
I am afraid l only understand English. l Offer this to help other arrogant English only speakers.
Regards Duckman

Dear Madam, Sir,

Thank you for your mail sent to the laboratory antivirus Avira.
Order-INC01809675.

Below is a list of files and results:

ID File Name File Size (bytes): Result
28396737 Rockwell4Free% 20% 20XP.exe 105.5 KB MALWARE [/ b]

The exact results for each file are in the following section:

Filename Result
Rockwell4Free% 20% 20XP.exe MALWARE [/ b]

The file '% 20% Rockwell4Free 20XP.exe' was classified as 'MALWARE'. Our analysts have given to this threat the name TR / Drop.Agent.108032.2. [/ B] With the name "TR /" means a trojan that is able to find out personal information, violating the privacy of 'user and make unwanted changes to the system. With version 7.11.205.02 is added to the virus definition file (VDF) a recognition model.

Alternatively, the results may be accessed by the following link:

Note: In case of specific questions, visit our website http://www.avira.com/it/support to get more details.

So unless sdanielracing can correct antivirus tags, l would suggest not downloading then opening this EXE. file.
If you struggle to activate these AB items, Peterg70 has offered a trail date reset bat.file command that will do what has been offered by sdanielracing and wont cause any concerns regarding privacy or unauthorised use of your computer.

My apologies and explanation

*******IMPORTANT EDIT:***********
First of all I want to clarify what has happened here about the virus thing.

As Peterg70 suggested, I first did a batchfile that worked for BOTH (Windows 7/8 and older) but since the trial reset only resets the trial and I wanted to get rid of running the file over and over each time the trial expired, so I tought making windows run it automatically on every startup.

However the only way to do this is with an EXE file. I dont actually know how to turn a BAT file to an exe with official softwares, so I downloaded a program called "Slimm bat to exe" which allowed me to convert it automatically and add a logo to the exe.

I am uploading the BAT file, yo can verify yourself the source code is SAFE, so probably the problem is with the converter. If anyone knows how to turn a BAT file to EXE so that we can all run this automatically upon startup I'd gladly apreciate it.

I do apologize for the problem this may have caused, but I want to clarify this situation was in fact due to third party softwares used to make the batfile an executable.

Here is the bat files wich are safe for you to download:

Code: Select all
